Lanesborough Real Estate Investment Trust ("LREIT") has implemented a Distribution Reinvestment and Unit Purchase Plan ("DRIP") in order to provide Unitholders with a convenient method of investing in additional Units, without being required to pay any commissions, service charges or brokerage fees.

 

The distribution reinvestment feature allows for monthly cash distributions from LREIT to be automatically reinvested in additional Units. With each reinvestment, Unitholders will receive a bonus distribution of Units equal to 4% of the amount of the cash distribution, which is reinvested. The purchase price of the Units will generally be equal to the weighted average closing price of the Units for the five trading days immediately preceding the distribution payment date.

 

Participants in the DRIP may also purchase additional Units on a distribution payment date. The purchase price of the Units will generally be equal to the weighted average closing price of the Units for the five trading days immediately preceding the relevant distribution payment date.

The DRIP is administered by CIBC Mellon Trust Company. In order to participate in the DRIP, registered Unitholders should complete and mail the enrolment form to Canadian Stock Transfer Company Inc., P.O. Box 4229, Station A, Toronto, Ontario, M5W 0G1.

Unitholders whose Units are not registered in their own name must contact their dealer or other intermediary in order to participate in the DRIP.
